YOUR SIX WORD ADDRESS TO AMERICA

In collaboration with Smith Magazine and The National Constitution Center, Chop Shop Studio (then Chopping Block) designed and built an exhibit that challenged visitors to write a six word stump speech, either about American ideals in general, or stating a position on a particular topic.

Events for the public and press were scheduled around Address America’s launch and collaboration with Smith Magazine’s Six-Word Memoir Project.

In the museum, visitors entered their speeches on iPads and then saw their speeches projected on the wall, intermingled with famous speeches from history and other visitors' speeches.

An accompanying website was built to open the exhibit to all. All submissions were available for viewing online whereas only selected posts from the online version were added to the in-museum display.
